Working Maremma Livestock Guardian Dogs

Since bringing Maremmas home to our farm several years ago we have not had a single loss to predators. They are amazing dogs! Our goal is to help other small farms protect their livestock in the same way. At the same time protecting the wildlife as well, because with LGDs you don't need to be out there shooting, trapping pr poisoning predatory animals who are just trying to survive. You also don't need to worry about you livestocks safety if you have a Maremma on duty.

Our puppies are raised, 24/7 with our livestock, and get a good imprint with our sheep as their family. We try ever so hard to make sure they learn at a young age to respect fencing so when they go off to their new homes they are well behaved (as much as a puppy can be).
They always receive worming at 4, 6, and 8 weeks old as well as their first set of shots from the vet. They'll get a full vet check up and health certificate before leaving to their new farms. They will be microchipped and registered to us, but you'll be able to change it to your name as soon as you bring them home.
We also temperament test all of our puppies at 6 weeks old, to get a better understanding of who they are and where they's be happiest. And offer as much advice and continued support as we can. Never hesitate to get ahold of me with questions!

Because of rising feed and vet cost our puppies are now $900 each, regardless of gender. I know you can find cheeper dogs out there, but I have not seen any with the same level of care. In fact I have previously seen $800 maremma pups with no care whatsoever.
But, we realized that not all small farms can afford this either. We are willing to be somewhat flexible, and have done some partial bartering in the past. If you feel you can offer a great, forever home to one of our pups, but the cost is prohibitive, please reach out to me. Perhaps we can work something out.
