All adult dogs will be fixed before leaving our farm. Â It's best if possible to wait until they are at least 2 years old. Â As of now, neither are fixed.
ANAKIN
Male, unfixed, turning 2yo this Fall
Anakin is a large male who came back to me late spring because he was showing early signs of aggression and dominance over his family. He has since learned through my own stubborn refusal to back down, that humans are indeed in charge and he is the sweetest most loving boy. He went from being a house pet, to guarding his own goat full time and has done amazingly. Soon he'll be moving in with some mini horses and if he does well we'll try him with some sheep or poultry. So far he has show no unessecary aggression towards his goat, though he will defend his dog house and his food bowl. Aside from that they get along great and the goat has learned to give him space with those two things.
Anakin is a very selective barker, and has proven to be very quiet compared to most guardians. He's extremely respectful of fencing as well and is shaping up to be a fabulous dog for someone.

Because he is massive (well over 100lbs) and still very much a happy go lucky puppy, I would prefer he go to a farm with no small children in his fence. He's likely to knock them over, a lot. He just really loves people. As he finishes maturing though, this may change, he's very smart. Also because of his size and strength I would not hesitate to put him in an area with a high predator load.

Anakin is priced at $1,000

This is somewhat negotiable to an amazing home. Our top priority is his happiness.

ROO BEAR
Female, unfixed, just turned 3
Roo Bear's is one of my most amazing guardians and her puppies are all following in her tracks. She is good with every animals she's ever been asked to guard and has even let bottle lambs nurse from her. And in the past she's caught a hawk that was trying to get her chickens.

Due to downsizing, Too Bear will unfortunately bee looking for a new farm soon. Why is she leaving if she's so amazing you ask? It's because she's so amazing actually. We took back a dog last year who still needs more training, and now we have too many guardians. Since Roo has proven herself over and over again, we feel much better letting her go off to a new job while we continue to provide guidance to the younger dogs.

Roo is 100% fabulous. Great with our children and great with the livestock. Amazing, trustworthy guardians do not come available very often. If you're interested in her please let me know. I'll be particular about where she goes because we really do love her!

Roo Bear is priced at $2,000

And as always, we are somewhat negotiable to a great home. Seeing Roo Bear happy and successful is most important.
